Dispatcher

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Dispatcher to coordinate daily logistics and transportation operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for scheduling shipments, communicating with drivers, tracking deliveries, and ensuring timely and efficient service. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and dispatch drivers, vehicles, and shipments
• Monitor delivery status and resolve scheduling issues
• Communicate with drivers, clients, and internal teams
• Maintain accurate records of routes, deliveries, and delays
• Optimize routes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
• Ensure compliance with company policies and transportation regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, dispatching, or transportation
• Strong experience in digital operations and logistics systems
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure
• Proficiency in computer systems and dispatch/logistics software
• Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with load boards (e.g., DAT, Truckstop)
• Knowledge of supply chain operations
• Bilingual (English and Spanish is a plus)
